Rolling Stones Delays and Cancellations
November 1st, 2006
The Rolling Stones have been having some delays and a cancellation in Hawaii while on tour due to Mick Jagger’s soar throat and inability to sing. Delays have been reported for upcoming stops in Atlantic City, a theater appearance in New York, and stadium gigs in Oakland, California, Vancouver, Canada, and Los Angeles.
A fan in Brooklyn, NY is suing the Rolling Stone band for $51 million USD because of a late October cancellation in Atlanta. The individual has filed a class-action lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court because they say that the band acted in bad faith knowing in adequate time that they were going to cancel, but not doing so until just before the concert causing many people to lose money on non-refundable lodging.
