Remember last week when the darling of the Partridge Family, red-haired Danny Bonaduce, reportedly “went nuts and leapt on the stage” to start pummeling ex-”Survivor” contestant Jonny Fairplay? Bonaduce swears that it wasn’t anywhere as bad as that and it seems that he has video as well as the court backing him up. The incident was the cumulation of a longstanding feud between the two has-beens and reported Fairplay (real name Jon Dalton) had been muttering obscenities and taunts at Bonaduce. The shocked audience at the Fox Reality Channel Really Awards watched as Fairplay grabbed Bonaduce and then the latter hoisted Fairplay up and over his shoulders, landing square on his face on the floor. But when you are a member at an event called the “Fox Reality Channel Really Awards” can you ever really be that surprised?

In any case Fairplay claims that the encounter required three hours of dental reconstructive surgery which we here at Pop Therapy take as a sign that we won’t ever mess with Danny. A Los Angeles judge has also ruled that Bonaduce won’t face any charges for the fracas citing that his “actions fell within the realm of self-defense”. Fairplay counters that he was only “hugging” Bonaduce which the police counter really meant that he “wrapped his arms and legs around the suspect and thrust his pelvis into the suspect’s body.” After watching the video of what happened we’re on Danny’s side all the way.
