Comedian Lives in IKEA Store
January 10th, 2008
New York comedian Mark Malkoff finds some temporary lodging at a Paramus, New Jersey Ikea store after his New York City apartment had to be fumigated and he needed some inexpensive short-term digs.
The comedian and filmmaker thought it would be fun to move into an IKEA store where he’d live and sleep for a week and tape his escapades - and surprisingly IKEA went for it.
Mark, who currently works as the audience coordinator on Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report”, is allowed to stay until Ikea closes at midnight on Saturday.
