The Two Coreys Survive to Fight Another Season
January 9th, 2008

The Two CoreysA&E Network is bringing back “The Two Coreys” for a 2nd season. Perhaps motivated by a rise in the lucrative 25-54 and 18-49 demographics, the cable network has ordered 10 new half-hour episodes of the show for a possible spring premiere according to hollywoodreporter.

The reality series features former child stars Corey Haim and Corey Feldman. Haim and Feldman are longtime friends and starred together in such 1980s films as “The Lost Boys” and “License to Drive.” Season 1 of The Two Coreys included many memorable highlights such as:

  • Susie sends The Coreys to an Indian sweat lodge in an attempt to rid them of their smoking habit.
  • Haim and Feldman are invited as special guests to a 20th Anniversary screening of the first “Coreys” movie, The Lost Boys.
  • It’s Haim’s birthday and turning 35 has him catching up on things he should have done long ago – such as learning to do laundry and getting a driver’s license.
  • Haim enlists the help of his friends to solve his love life crisis. First he tries speed dating, then placing a personal ad online, but nothing seems to work.

The end of Season 1 was quite the cliffhanger as The Coreys were last seen feuding, and executives say the two have not seen each other since. In the second season, Haim and Feldman will decide whether to work through their differences or part ways.

I made it through about the 4th episode myself, but maybe you have a higher tolerance for the Coreys. You can watch a teary reunion from season 1 here.

  1. Conner Flynn Says:

I don’t know about Corey’s, but I’ve always wanted to see a show or movie that features the magic, “Walken, Weller and Woods” combination.

As in James Woods, Peter Weller and Chris Walken. That I would pay to see.

  2. Darrin Says:

Is Feldman like related to Charlie Sheen? If nothing else maybe one of them could get a job as a stand-in for the other.

I have been thinking that the “W3″ lineup would also be awesome.
They are somewhat similar in looks and style so maybe they could even trade off personaes and mess with the viewers.
