It has absolutley nothing to do with the contest. The Fox network and the show's creater make the only rules that apply. To think the we as a public have a in this matter is abserd and the mere showing of the many contestants having a checkered past is a testiment that we have all done things that we are ashamed of, but we have paid our debt to society, society owes it to use to respect that it was in the past and should be left there.
