Lost Recap-The Economist
February 15th, 2008

I found this week’s episode to be pretty so-so, which happens now and again as chess pieces are put in place and the game board moves the story into the next phase. BUT it had several revelations. Check out my thoughts after the jump.
Dan Farady-We learned in the recap of last weeks ep that it was his CARETAKER, not his wife who was there when he cried about the plane crash. That bolsters my theory on him being a bit mental. I see him as a brilliant physicist who is also a bit bonkers.
As far as his payload, the time difference proves that there is a “time” phenomenon happening as well as magnet anomalies.
Frank says don’t talk to Mankowski if he answers the phone. Just hang up-ManCow is obviously Ben’s mole, but why not talk if he answers? Is the freighter actually divided as well? Are they actually warring on that boat as on the island?
Future Ben-That was a shock, and yet not. Clearly he is still on the island right? Maybe traveling off willy nilly as we now know he can do. He seems to be using Sayid to protect the island and the people. From what? Another theory is that he is OFF the island. Remember when Kate and Jack met at the airport in the future? I can’t remember, but didn’t Kate have a pager when she said she had to get back or HE would wonder where she was? Is she actually with Ben in the future?
Hurley-He almost ruined everything by laying the trap to catch Sayid’s team. Nice going Lardo.
Sayid’s lover-Who was she working for? Probably Mr. Abaddon.(Remember “2 sides on the board. One white, one black.” Ben’s faction against Abaddon’s?
Naomi’s bracelet-Had the initials R.G. Wasn’t the woman who answered the SAT phone named Regina? Her lover? That’s why it was convenient that they bring the body back.
Check out this theory here regarding Ben, I think you’ll like it.
Those are just some basic thoughts. Feel free to add to the list.
