Under the Sea 3D: Not Quite Beowulf Jolie 3D Hotness
February 7th, 2008
IMAX is one of those movie going pleasures we here at PopTherapy do whenever we can. Nothing says tough guys like watching Beowulf kicking ass and checking out a nearly naked Angelina Jolie slither around the screen. You can now translate that 3D lust into fishes as IMAX and Warner Bros. get set to take us Under the Sea 3D.
This fish documentary is being shot in the waters around Papua, New Guinea, and is set for release in February 2009. It is the sort-of sequel to Deep Sea 3D, which IMAX says raked in over $60 million worldwide.
Under the Sea 3D, besides showing off lots of cool fish in 3D, will also carry a warm and fuzzy message about the evils of global warming. The film is being shot by director Howard Hall and company.
