Who wants to be a serial killer? According to Hollywood Reporter, Showtime will be turning its bloody serial-killer drama “Dexter” into a video game.

The game is being designed for multiple platforms, including the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360, and will be aimed at gamers and fans of the Showtime series.

The Showtime series focuses on Dexter Morgan, a serial killer who chops up his victims and then expertly destroys all the evidence. The twist is that Dexter only kills those whom he believes “deserved to die”. That sounds like the recipe for a hit video game to me.

Dexter is in it’s second season on Showtime. Dexter season 1 is currently airing on CBS.
