Robert Irvine Replaced over Falsified Resume
March 4th, 2008

Robert Irvine of Dinner: ImpossibleCelebrity chef Robert Irvine will be replaced as host of Dinner: Impossible at Food Network due to inaccuracies in a resume.

Irvine admitted to spicing up a resume that included a British knighthood, ownership of a castle in Scotland, friendship with Prince Charles and cooking for four United States presidents. The network announced it would not renew Irvine’s contract, but it would air the remaining episodes of the current season.

Dinner: Impossible is a popular show on Food Network that puts Irvine in difficult culinary situations where he must overcome obstacles to prepare “impossible” meals.

I am a big fan of both the show and Irvine. I couldn’t care less if he falsified his resume. I sure hope they don’t pick Bobby Flay as his replacement.
