Interview with Lego Universe Developer
March 6th, 2008

Lego UniverseLego Universe is destined be a full-scale MMO (massively multiplayer online game) aimed at Lego’s core audience of kids ages 8 to 12. Lego hopes to get some of that sweet MMO action that World of Warcraft currently enjoys with its legions of fans.

The game will focus on the building - that is, letting players build houses, vehicles, etc. Lego will also let Lego Universe gamers order Lego models of their in-game creations.

gamesindustry.biz has an interview with Lego’s director of business development Mark Hansen about its strategy to make Lego Universe stand out in the competitive MMO market.

The game is still far from public release, but you can follow the progress at universe.lego.com.
