Lost Recap: Cabin Fever
May 9th, 2008

Hi, I\'m dead!
I’ve often described Lost as a beautiful mosaic of thought. The show makes you think sure, but it makes you think in ALL directions. Last night’s episode was pure classic Lost magic. Here are some random thoughts.

I now believe what I already suspected. That Claire has been dead since the house blew up. Think about it, her first words were “Charlie?” as if she saw him. Then later, she feels better since she is no longer “seeing things”.

Horace, our new Dharma friend had a nose bleed, plus he happens to be a mathematician. I believe he was jumping through time at some point before his death.

Christian is not Jacob, but speaks for him. hmmm.

Was Locke destined to be a Man of Science? It sure looks that way. And Richard Alpert was certainly disappointed when young Locke chose the knife. Interestingly, little Locke had drawn the smoke monster.

Did anyone else notice that Alperts car resembled the one that hit Emily?

Here’s an interesting tidbit. Remember when Desmond told Charlie that he saw Claire and the baby getting on the helicopter? Combine this knowledge with the fact that Aaron is not to be raised by another. I’m thinking that if Claire had not been led astray, she would have boarded instead of Kate…Leaving Kate and Sawyer on island as…Adam and Eve?

We now know the island moves, which is why the future Jack can’t find it.

Keamy just needs to die now. I’m not sure what is on his arm, but it aint good!

I could go on forever with an episode like that one, but it’s Friday and the weekend beckons. Until next time….
