First, let me just say that if I saw this thing walking down my street, I’d get a shotgun, because I would think it was the apocalypse and that cigarette smoking zombies were coming to eat my flesh.

Also, what with all the tatts and the striped shirt and general undercurrent of skank, she reminds me of a candy cane lying in a New York street. You know, kinda old and grayish with hair sticking to it and whatnot.

Anyhow, looks like Amy Winehouse and her husband may be getting a divorce. Hubby Blake Fielder-Civil asked for it. Looking at the above picture I can’t imagine why.

It’s pretty bad when a prison guy divorces you. He’s probably got better prospects he’s eyeing in the jail.

The very public and very messy divorce between Paul McCartney and his ex-wife Heather Mills could cost the former Beatle more than 25 million pounds (that would be $50 million dollars in American bills please!) After months of negotiations between the two’s lawyers Mills attorney has managed to open the purse strings of McCartney a little wider and turn his initial 5 million pounds settlement figure to a larger 25 million pounds. For a guy like Paul who’s reportedly worth 825-or-so million pounds (that’s $1.6 billion American dollars) what’s another 20 million to make sure his former lady love remains true to her promise as well as the confidentiality clause he made her sign. For Heather that works out to about 12 million dollars U.S. for each of the four years that the two were married, not bad pocket change for a 39-year-old smooching someone old enough to be her dad.

But even with the lucrative prospect of a 25 million pound payday Heather Mills and her attorney aren’t in a rush to sign the paperwork. Perhaps they think that Paul can afford to pay more for their quartet of happy years or maybe she thinks that she deserves more. She may get it still but in the court of public opinion the verdict is already in and it’s not favorable: she’s a gold digger!

Marshall Bruce Mathers III, aka, Eminem, and his wife Kim Anne Scott Mathers have divorced less than a year after getting re-married. (Bare with me on this one, I may need a chalk board and time machine to explain this.)

The couple met around 1989 and had a troubled relationship as evidenced by many of Eminen’s songs. An oft repeated theme in his music is his relationship with his wife.

Eminem and Kim were first married in 1999 in Missouri.

In 2000, Eminem release “The Marchall Mathers LP” which contained the song “Kim.” On it he berates her for cheating on him and the song ends with Eminem cutting her throat. This song is supposedly a prequel to “97’ Bonnie & Clyde” in which Eminem disposes of the body of his wife with his little girl, Hallie, in the car.

Eminem peformed shows in which he simulated beating Kim, using a doll for a stand in. After seeing one such show Kim tried to commit suicide by slitting her wrists.

In August of 2000, Eminem filed for divorce. However, the couple tried to reconcile for the sake of their daughter. The reconciliation didn’t take and Kim filed for divorce in 2001.

A messy custody battle ensued but rumors started circulating that the couple had reconciled. On December 7th, 2005, Eminem announced that they were going to re-marry.

They wed again on January 14th, 2006 in Rochester Hills, Michigan. However the honeymoon was short. On April 5th there was a report of an eminent divorce for Eminem and his loving wife. The divorce was finalized on December 20th, 2006

So you get up and stage and show people how you want to beat your wife and then she tries to kill herself and then you file for divorce. Huh.

This story just goes to show you can take the white rapper out of the trailer park but you can’t take the trailer park out of the state of Michigan.

Every relationship is different and some couples have more trouble communicating than others, but Eddie Murphy may have found a very indirect route of breaking up, or Melanie Brown is just not listening.
On Monday Melanie Brown landed in LAX only to find out from friends that a Dutch television show aired with Eddie Murphy denying to be the father of Mel’s child and stating that they are not together anymore. I suppose he figured she would get the news one way or another.

If she didn’t get the hint from him saying “We’re not together anymore,” in the interview, along with “And I don’t know whose child that is, until it comes out and has a blood test. You shouldn’t jump to conclusions, sir.”, then maybe she would catch on when Eddie took his new girlfriend Tracey Edmonds to the Dreamgirls movie premeire that same day? Maybe not.

The former Scary Spice Girl insists that Eddie is the father, believes the couple is still together and is upset about the whole ordeal. Brown and Murphy started dating shortly after Eddie was divorced from his wife Nicole of 12 years.

People magazine’s web site has reported that actors Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn have called it quits. The announcement was made by representatives for the couple.

“Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be good friends today,” said representatives John Pisani and Stephen Huvane.

Apparently, Jen decided to end their whirlwind romance after a trip to London in October.

Aniston, 37, and Vaughn, 36, have battled rumors and innuendo from the start with speculation first about the beginning of their relationship then about marriage. However there was constant speculation of a breakup through out their relationship.

The actors met while filming “The Break-Up” in 2005 which lead immediately to rumors of romance which both initially denied, stating instead that they were “friends” (no pun intended). Frequent sightings of the couple together in various locations led to more rumors but the coupled stayed mum about their blossoming relationship, including whispers of an engagement

The honeymoon was over before it began though as rumors of a breakup begun to circulate. Vince played the uncharacteristic tough guy roll and threatened to sue British and American tabloids which reported that he was stepping out on Jen and was planning to break with Aniston.

Vaughn is currently starring in a holiday comedy called “Fred Claus.” He is well known for his roles in “Wedding Crashers” and “Old School.” Aniston became famous as the ditzy pretty girl Rachel in the television comedy “Friends” and films such as “Office Space” and “The Good Girl”. She is probably just as famous for being Brad Pitt’s wife as she is for her acting.

Brittany Spears reportedly has recently filed for divorce from her husband Kevin Federline, seemingly conveniently timing it with election day.

The filing of the divorce papers had been confirmed by an LA superior court spokesperson according to the TMZ website, but rumors abound as to the legitimacy of the “irreconcilable differences” divorce grounds or if it is just a publicity stunt to gain more attention for the singer couple.

Spears and Federline have been married for two years and have two children together. Brittany has also made a recent surprise appearance on the David Letterman show, showing off her new slimed down look after the recent birth of her second child with Federline.
