Donald Trump is back for another season of The Apprentice. This installment has a twist – Trump gets to fire celebrities, and instead of a job, the celebrity winner gets $250,000 that will go to a favorite charity.

The players for this season of the entrepreneurial competition are: Trace Adkins, Stephen Baldwin, Nadia Comaneci, Tiffany Fallon, Jennie Finch, Nely Galán, Marilu Henner, Lennox Lewis, Omarosa, Piers Morgan, Tito Ortiz, Vincent Pastore, and Gene Simmons.

The season premier of Celebrity Apprentice aired on Thursday. It should be interesting television watching the celebrities vie for the love and affection of The Donald and his minions. Annoying as they may be, celebrity egos might save this sinking ship.

Donald Trump is suing Palm Beach, Florida after his club, the Mar-a-Lago, was cited for flying an oversized flag.

“The Donald” is claiming that flying the enormous flag is a constitutionally protected freedom. Trump is quoted as saying “The day you need a permit to put up the American flag, that will be a sad day for this country.”

According to the suit, “A smaller flag and pole on Mar-A-Lago’s property would be lost given its massive size, look silly instead of make a statement, and most importantly would fail to appropriately express the magnitude of Donald J. Trump’s and the Club’s members’ patriotism.”

Palm Beach officials say that Trump violated the local zoning ordinances by flying the flag. The flag measured 15 high by 25 wide and was hoisted atop an eighty foot flag pole. Apparently town ordinances prevent flag poles higher than 42 feet. The club was also sited for not getting a building permit and for not getting permission from the landmarks committee.

Trump’s attorneys are accusing the town of selectively enforcing its ordinances.

It seems Donald’s finally found a symbol big enough to represent his ego. This suit is crazy both because zoning ordinances are a bit ridiculous and because Trump is suing for ten million. I don’t really understand what Trump is suing over. Can’t a town enforce its own rules?

Tara Conner, this year’s Miss USA, has been allowed to keep her crown for now. The announcement was made today by Donald Trump.

Connor had been in hot water for frequenting bars even thought she is only 20.

According to Mr. Trump, he met with Connor on Tuesday morning, “She left a small town in Kentucky and she was telling me that she got caught up in the whirlwind of New York.” He continued, “It’s a story that has happened many times before to many women and many men who came to the Big Apple. They wanted their slice of the Big Apple and they found out it wasn’t so easy.”

Ms Connor tearfully thanked Mr. Trump for a second chance, “In no way did I think it would be possible for a second chance to be given to me.” She then turned to Trump and said “You’ll never know what this means to me, and I swear I will not let you down.”

Trump is apparently confident in Connor’s chances saying, “I think Tara is going to be the great comeback kid.”
