anatoWii: The Anatomy of the Wii
September 13th, 2009

anatoWii: The Anatomy of the WiiThe Anatomy of a Console by Angela Moramarco. I’m a little surprised. I expected the Wii to have more meat on it’s bones. It sure has enough ribs. Looks stringy. I don’t think I would buy this at my local butcher.

The Wiimote is where the meat is, but the console pic shows that the main console is full of brains. The two communicate of course, allowing you to play Mario and such. I just never realized that you would need a doctor to fix the Wii.

Order Up! Hell’s Kitchen For The Wii
May 28th, 2008

I asked for lamb you fat piece of crap!
How about a Hell’s Kitchen kind of game for the Wii? Chef Ramsey won’t tear you a new A-hole for not cooking the Salmon properly or anything. I wish it was that kind of game. I want to be Chef Ramsey and belittle while teaching…Sadly I’ll have to wait.

Order Up! Is a mix of Cooking Mama and Diner Dash. You start at the bottom rung in fast food then work your way up to becoming your own restaurant owner. Your job is to run a successful business, and attract and keep customers. You also get to be a Chef and design your own dishes. You even have to have a clean environment, or else the health inspectors will get you.

July 22nd for the Wii.

Kid Icarus Coming To Wii?
May 12th, 2008

Kid Icarus Coming To Wii?
Kid Icarus is one of the coolest games ever made. If you’ve never played it you never had an NES. Pit is an angel who has been trapped in the Underworld. He’s given a magical bow by Palutena, Goddess of Light, to help destroy Medusa, Goddess of Darkness, and restore peace to the world. Pit is awesome.

There are rumors that Kid Icarus is going to be revived.

The artwork we’ve published comes from a pitch document we got our hands on in the early part of 2008. Since then, sources have told us the game’s artwork has advanced considerably. Despite this artwork not being reflective of the game’s current standing, we’ve decided to share it so fans can get a look at what Factor 5 has experimented with.

The last nugget of information we have to share with you is in regards to the game’s plot. At the time of the document’s writing, Factor 5 had imagined a plot starring a grown-up, adult Pit, who is “cursed for thousands of years for a crime and becomes a ‘fallen angel.’” The pitch adds that “a tattoo on Pit’s arm bears the inscription of Pit’s crime.”

Mario Kart Wii Outsold By Erotic PSP Game In Japan
April 20th, 2008

Bokudakeno
Mario Kart Wii has been almost as highly-anticipated as Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii was. It sold over 300,000 copies on launch day in Japan. However, it was outdone this week in sales by some bouncy animated boobs. Bokudake no Kajitsu is an erotic title for the PSP. What’s shocking is that Mario Kart was beaten by a game about sex. Then again, sex is what most gamers probably crave the most.

Boobs VS. Mario Kart. Boobs have won.

Super Mario Galaxy Wii Mod
April 16th, 2008

Cool Mario Wii Mod
Mario Galaxy fans will love this lighted Wii mod. It’s got a bunch of LED lights, 59 to be exact, illuminating the Mario Galaxy logo, while others flicker on and off like stars. It’s also got Mario figures on either side.

It was being sold on Ebay and all proceeds would have gone to the Penny Arcade charity, Child’s Play. But it appears that those douche guzzling Nazis at Ebay have taken the auction down.

Super Mario Sluggers
Nintendo announced that we can expect another Mario game soon in the form of Mario Super Sluggers. It should be a cross between the Wii sports version of Baseball and Mario Superstar Baseball. Not much other info at the moment, but expect Bowser to suck playing outfield.

Space Invaders On Nintendo Wii: It’s Payback Time
April 13th, 2008

Space Invaders are back!
The boffins over at Taito Japan are revamping the Space Invaders game with a new twist on the classic. This time, you’re not on defense, instead you get to control the invaders yourself and serve up some Alien pay back.

Space Invaders Get Even puts you in command of up to 300 individual pixelated aliens using the Wii-mote and Nunchuk controllers. With the Nunchuck, you direct a UFO to drop hundreds of aliens on forest, city and military targets, destroying everything in sight. You’ll be able to command the invaders to swarm and group in a variety of attack formations.

Looks pretty awesome if you ask me. I hope the Space Invader aliens don’t team up with the Galaga aliens.

Wii Super Mario Casemod Is Awesome
March 10th, 2008

Super Mario Casemod
This hand-painted Super Mario themed Wii features a scene from the classic platformer. It even has a 3-dimensional Mario busting out of the side. It was done using a large amount of modeling clay and Bondo.

There’s a tutorial over on Instructables, showing you how to do the same thing. The creator says he is probably putting this one up for auction in the next week to raise some cash, so watch ebay if you are too lazy to make your own.

Girl’s Cheerleading Game In Works For Wii
March 10th, 2008

Girl’s Cheerleading Game In Works For Wii
THQ announced that All Star Cheer Squad, the first-ever cheerleading videogame, is currently in development to make its debut for Wii and Nintendo DS this autumn in the States.

That’s just great. We will be getting a slew of new Wiimote accessories that have pompoms on the end. Speaking of pompoms, I’m hoping that I can enter some codes and get their clothes off.
