Check out this $42 import Transformer that features a cassette deck, similar to Soundwave. This guy can transform into a netbook. No other Transformer can do that. And whether you dig “Qosmio” netbooks or not, it’s a cool 4-port USB hub.

Something tells me we won’t be seeing this “Qosmio” guy in the new movie. Unless there’s a ton of product placement anyway.

Here is a pretty cool time-lapse video of Robert Burden painting himself a giant Voltron. It took the man a long time. We’re talking some serious blood sweat and tears. You get to consume it in just 3 minutes and change.

In the video above, this gigantic ALCNON humanoid robot picks a fight with a miniature opponent, showing off a combination of his swift punches and dance moves. The little bot is pretty scrappy and comes at him again and again, sadly to no avail. It’s all pretty sad, yet strangely satisfying.

From the Licensing International Expo in New York, comes this first look at a poster for MGM’s remake of RoboCop.

I’m not so sure about this guys. Robocop was cool and all, but as cyborgs go, he was always a bit on the lame side. I would have expected that they would have updated the look a bit more. All they did was add a Battlestar Galactica Cylon look. Here’s to hoping we get something superior to the original movies, but with the same kind of weird humor.

Sure, it aint no crystal skull, it’s cooler cuz it’s from a decapitated cyborg. It’s the kind of crap you find when aliens and mad scientists have a yard sale, so you buy it for a few bucks even though you don’t need it. Then you put it on your desk and forget about it, until some asswipe teleports into your room from the year 2134 demanding his shit back and calling you a skullfucker and all kinds of other crap.

At least that’s what happened to me. But I fixed their ass good. I sold the thing to Skynet, or cyberdyne, or whatever the hell it’s called.
