The Miley Cyrus train wreck in the making just keeps on chugging. Now, she’s reportedly dating a much older man – a 22-year-old. Miley is only 15.

Normally, that would land a guy in jail, but rules are different in Hollywood. Famous jailbait apparently makes it alright. The pedophile in question, I mean, boyfriend, is her 22-year-old backup dancer, Marshall. The two have been caught flirting on camera and kissing and hugging each other. I wonder what Billy Ray thinks about this. It is perfectly acceptable in hillbilly law.

Well, I guess they figure it makes them look better. A source says that she’s doing a cameo in their new video shoot today. The Pussycat Dolls are filming the single “When I Grow Up” from their second album. Brit just keeps on doing other stuff since no one seems all that interested in her stuff.

This Season 7 final episode had it all. We saw the other finalists from this season, finalists from last season like Jordan Sparks and that beat boxin’ guy, ZZ Top, Bryan Adams and even George Michael (boy has that guy gotten old). We also saw some humorous commercials with both Davids in their underwear doing the Tom Cruise thing with a Guitar Hero guitar.

Tonight is the last night where just one contestant is picked as the winner of American Idol 2008 and David Cook takes home the award this year, winning by over 12 million votes leaving David Archuleta, the young man made for TV singing contests, as the runner up. Both of these guys deserved the win but we have to agree with this vote. David Cook was an underdog bartender that fans were able to relate and grow with throughout the season.

Congratulations David!

You don’t think we’d forget about Kristy Lee Cook though, do you? One last gratuitous pic:

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler checked himself into the same Pasadena, Calif. rehabilitation clinic where VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab” was filmed, according to TMZ.

TMZ is reporting that the 60-year-old rocker is seeking treatment for unspecified “substance abuse,’ and a rep contacted by Us magazine said they knew “nothing about” a possible rehab stint.

My guess is it’s a hip replacement. Or maybe he felt chilled and needed a special sweater that says grandpa on it. Fucking old rockers piss me off. Tyler can be seen in the pic above trying to avoid losing his face to the expanding black hole of massive lips.

I know our American Idol coverage has been lacking a little as of late, but in all fairness once Kristy Lee Cook was voted off my interest was cut to a fraction. Fortunately Syesha Mercado made the ranks into the final three and on looks alone she should be the winner, but there is some singing involved and Syesha was the one voted off of American Idol tonight.

Who does that leave? Well, if you’ve been watching the show it’s obvious, but for the rest of you, we can look forward to the two David’s going head to head next week on to decide who becomes the winner and American Idol of Fox’s season 7 competition. (more…)

The little skank that could, Miley Cyrus, will appear in some racy (and some might say borderline kiddie porn) pics in Vanity Fair magazine. She’s only 15 years old! She posed for a shoot with photographer Annie Liebovitz.

Miley actually apologized to fans about the pics.

She says:

“I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed.”

“I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”

Vanity Fair says:

“Miley’s parents and/or minders were on the set all day. Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley. In fact, when Bruce Handy interviewed Miley, he asked her about the photo and she was very cheerful about it and thought it was perfectly fine.”

Let me sum it up for you. Vanity Fair is wrong and so is Miley Cyrus.(Or they are both right, depending on your perspective.) What we have here are two A-hole entities who want to make money. They mutually needed each other to do so and they mutually agreed on these pics.

By generating controversy about the very pics they agreed to, Miley and her handlers get a ton of buzz. This equals more money in the well oiled 15 year old cash machine that is Miley Cyrus. It’s simple Hollywood math.

And so the die has been cast and the only thing left for them to do is sit back and watch the zombie population react exactly as they are supposed to. And count the money.

She’s barely even had a life yet and uber-skank Miley Cyrus is cashing in on her fame to write books. She signed a seven-figure book deal with Disney Book Group, the teen star’s publisher announced Tuesday.

The book will focus on the 15-year-old’s road to fame, from growing up in Tennessee to becoming an international star. All I can say is that this kid is going to be pretty screwed up by the time she hits 18.

It’s the voting episode of week six and coincidentally America’s votes bring the remaining American Idol contestants down to the last six as one gets voted off tonight. Throughout a series of performances and another puppet-themed Ford plug by the performers Ryan Seacrest weeded Carly Smithson, Jason Castro and Syesha Mercado into a small group of their own and another group consisting of David Cook, Kristy Lee Cook and Brook White across the stage. David Archuleta was held out to last since it would likely give away which group was the bottom three.

After some uncomfortable shuffling it ended up being Syesha, Brook and Kristi Lee as the three with the fewest votes for the week. I feel like none of these contestants should be in the bottom three overall, but it seems like a lot of voters go off solely the last performance which helps make a little sense of this weeks numbers. Also we need to remember that these people aren’t voted off, but are just not voted on as much as the others.

Unfortunately this time it was Kristy Lee Cooks time to go. Kristy had a shaky time earlier in the season but was really making a comeback in her performances each week but it just didn’t turn out to be enough to keep her going. I guess we knew it was going to happen eventually, but we’ll certainly miss seeing Kristy on the stage each week.

Well, it looks like we made it to the final 7 this year without having any type of embarrassment “vote for the worst” contestants on the stage. The loss of Michael Johns last week was a surprising result for everyone and actually added a little excitement to the show since this time it wasn’t as predictable as we were beginning to believe.
