How about stomping some Goombas with these babies? They ended for $255 on Ebay. The pictures are of a pair that the seller made for a friend, but the winner of the auction got to another pair painted in any size, and with any custom touches they wanted.

Ben Russell walked all over the competition to become the sole title holder of “rottenest sneakers in the country”.

By the looks of those nasty shoes, the teen from Eagle River, Alaska was a shoo-in to win the championship. This kid brings new meaning to the phrase “My Dogs are Barkin’”

The annual Rotten Sneaker Contest is sponsored by Odor-Eaters and held in Montpelier, Vermont.

Just what I’m sure Kurt would have wanted - his own signature shoes.

According to several reports, Converse is about to release a collection of shoes that feature sketches and other scribbling from Kurt Cobain’s personal notebooks.

The shoes are estimated to be released in May as part of a 100-year celebration for Converse. Wow, Chuck Taylor All Stars were invented all the way back in 1917!

Converse plans to roll out other stories of the true “originals” who have worn the brand throughout the year. Other deceased pop culture icons featured in the Converse campaign include Ian Curtis of Joy Division, writer Hunter S Thompson and Sex Pistols’ Sid Vicious.

All of us probably owned a pair of Chucks at some point in our lives, but this seems a little messed up to me. I can only guess that this will bring Converse its own fair share of criticism.

These Kool-Aid Reebok sneakers are purported to be released in 2008. I can’t confirm whether or not these are real. I only hope they come in Mens 12 with a matching hoodie. And in Blue Berry Yum Yum, of course.
