September 8th 1966. Nerds everywhere were in awe. If any of them had ever had sex previously, it would not happen again. It probably led to everything from 12 sided dice to comic cons, to grown men wearing Uhura’s uniform, and so in honor of all things Trek I present to you once again the Star Trek Next Generation Rap.
We all loved Star Trek: The Next Generation at one time. right? This video by “Those Aren’t Muskets” has some awesome and funny jokes. If you were ever a Trek geek, you will find TONS of classic references. Features some of the best lyrics EVER! Like: I left the holodeck with a hollow dick.

Bead curtains are not just for 1960’s hippie dens anymore. These are made by artist Devorah Sperber. Kind of like pixel-art in 3D, she slides tens of thousands of beads onto threads to create these detailed geek portraits. This is some retro cool geek awesomeness right here.
Some of her works include the holodeck door, Enterprise-D’s bridge, and her “beaming down” series, which looks like the “real” special effect.

You know, I’m really starting to have a thing for the girls over there at Shiny Shiny. There’s just something about cute girls who bring things like this awesome Trek shirt to my attention. Things like this make me a happy geek.

Say you are bored out of your mind. Say you are a William Shatner fan. Maybe both. Want some thoughts from the Shat on his “candid and personal views on life”? You need to beam thyself over to online video site VideoJug then.
The actor best known for Capitan James Kirk is doing videos over at VideoJug on all the things you’d want to know about him, from life raising his three daughters to how he got into hip hop music. We can’t say it is pretty to hear him rapping.
So, if you having nothing else to do, or love Shatner so much (in which case you have nothing else to do), you’ll find these videos entertaining long enough for Tribbles to mate enough to rule the world.

First off, this guy’s hypnotic voice makes me feel like Data himself is explaining things. Basically, you just install a Blu-Ray laser into a Star Trek phaser gun and you have a shiny new geek toy. It costs less than $100 to build, and possibly your eyesight.
I’m gonna try this myself over the weekend. If you don’t see any updates on Monday, it’s because I haven’t seen anything since Saturday.
