James Bond Quantum Of Solace Trailer
July 1st, 2008

Here’s the new Bond trailer. I don’t like this new douche. Connery and Moore were the best. Then again I’m grumpy because I don’t get all that spy gear.

May 20th, 2008

007 Books
As part of Penguin UK’s re-release of Ian Fleming’s classic 007 Bond books on May 29th, they commissioned Michael Gillette to paint 14 covers for the project. They are all done in ‘60s pin-up style with the book titles in retro fonts across the backsides of the Bond girls.

Amy Winehouse Daycare?
April 15th, 2008

Not the children!
I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t let this B-movie creature anywhere near my kids. The pic was apparently taken at a local pub in Oxfordshire yesterday.

Winehouse was supposedly in town recording the upcoming James Bond movie theme. There are some unconfirmed reports that Sigourney Weaver showed up an hour later asking if anyone had seen an alien queen.

007 Keeps the Car
December 12th, 2007

Casino Royale 007 carLuxury automobile manufacturer Aston Martin has announced that British superapy James Bond will once again be behind the wheel of one of their rides in the next 007 movie. Bond drove a DBS model Aston Martin in “Casino Royale” and it was featured in an amazing stunt where the car was flipped seven times in succession. That stunt set a new Guinness World Record for “The Most Cannon Rolls For a Car”. Daniel Craig will be back for the second time to play the MI6 spy in the untitled Bond film that starts filming next year for a November 2008 release.

“Aston Martin is proud of our long association with James Bond. The DBS has its own unique character which equals that of James Bond,” said the company’s chief executive Dr. Ulrich Bez “It is explosive power in a black tie. It is the perfect car for James Bond as it delivers the complete driving experience and bridges the gap between our road and track cars – the DB9 and DBR9. It is equally at home on a twisting mountain circuit as on the open road and we are all very excited at the prospect of seeing it on the big screen again.”

The next James Bond movie is a sequel to “Casino Royale” and will have 007 going after the terrorist organization introduced in Craig’s first outing. “Monster’s Ball”’s Marc Forster will direct from a screenplay by “Crash” Oscar-winner Paul Haggis.

We here at Pop Therapy do admire the lines of the DBS even if we don’t have the extra $100,000 lying around to pick it up. Does James have insurance coverage for things like damage by hitmen?
