Tom Cruise Still Paranoid, Has Armored Cars
June 13th, 2008

Some friends of the Cruises are saying that his cars are equipped with bulletproof windows and are also bomb proof! Get a grip buddy! Word is his cars look totally normal, but are in fact armored fortresses. The God of Scientology needs to be protected after all and these are like his Pope-mobiles. This paranoid fruitcake allegedly doesn’t even let Katie drive likes and he likes to drive her himself. For Xenu’s sake dude, let the woman have some alone time! Women need alone time. At least that’s what they always tell me just before I never see them again.

For Christ’s sake Tommy boy, you mean to tell me you got your own version of Wile E. Coyote out there setting traps and trying to assassinate you in your car? So you bought yourself some ACME vehicle armor kits, huh? I bet it’s Dr. Drew. You two really need to cool your feud and make love already.

007 Keeps the Car
December 12th, 2007

Casino Royale 007 carLuxury automobile manufacturer Aston Martin has announced that British superapy James Bond will once again be behind the wheel of one of their rides in the next 007 movie. Bond drove a DBS model Aston Martin in “Casino Royale” and it was featured in an amazing stunt where the car was flipped seven times in succession. That stunt set a new Guinness World Record for “The Most Cannon Rolls For a Car”. Daniel Craig will be back for the second time to play the MI6 spy in the untitled Bond film that starts filming next year for a November 2008 release.

“Aston Martin is proud of our long association with James Bond. The DBS has its own unique character which equals that of James Bond,” said the company’s chief executive Dr. Ulrich Bez “It is explosive power in a black tie. It is the perfect car for James Bond as it delivers the complete driving experience and bridges the gap between our road and track cars - the DB9 and DBR9. It is equally at home on a twisting mountain circuit as on the open road and we are all very excited at the prospect of seeing it on the big screen again.”

The next James Bond movie is a sequel to “Casino Royale” and will have 007 going after the terrorist organization introduced in Craig’s first outing. “Monster’s Ball”’s Marc Forster will direct from a screenplay by “Crash” Oscar-winner Paul Haggis.

We here at Pop Therapy do admire the lines of the DBS even if we don’t have the extra $100,000 lying around to pick it up. Does James have insurance coverage for things like damage by hitmen?
