New Doctor Who Movie, Cartoon, Companion
May 29th, 2009

Doctor Who is still going strong. The BBC is planning to make a Doctor Who movie to be released in theaters. No one knows who the doctor will be, David Tennant or new Doctor Matt Smith.

There’s also going to be another Doctor Who animated series, called Dreamland. Looks like it will be seven 6-minute episodes on Children’s BBC, with the voice of Tennant.

And then there’s a new companion. Very young Karen Gillan, seen above.

Yeah, but what about an all Muppet version of Doctor Who? C’mon BBC, do you have No vision?

What The Smurf? New Smurf Movie Ushers End Of The World
June 12th, 2008

Smurfs
Sometimes I hear something so repulsive I want to jump the hell off of this spinning blue marble and incinerate myself in the sun. According to Variety, the suck-cess of Alvin and the Chipmunks have led to a soon to be made Smurf movie.

We’re very excited to introduce a new generation to Papa Smurf, Smurfette and the other smurftastic Smurfs in all of their ‘three-apple-tall’ glory,” [said] Columbia co-president Doug Belgrad.

When asked point blank if he was fucked in his Smurf loving head, he chuckled, toked on his joint and toyed with his Gargamel figure.

The smurfs movie was said to be one of the signs of the Apocalypse. It’s in the bible and everything. The one that I wrote when I was mind-humping that hippie cult out west. Hey, it was a different era. The hippie chick sex was good and allowed me to father a ton of children without paying crap. Needless to say, when the Jesus UFO failed to show up, people got a little pissed. It’s amazing how many problems all get solved at once with a huge vat of kool-aid.

Speed Racer Trailer Online
December 13th, 2007

I was never really a fan of Speed Racer when I was a kid. Having said that, this movie looks like it kicks some serious ass. It has a great look with great great special effects. This is from the guys who made the Matrix movies, so it should be a good ride. Among others, it stars Lost’s Matthew Fox and Christina Ricci, who looks beautiful as always. All of the actors seem to fit the parts very well. So rejoice all you Japan cartoon fans, this should be a good one.
