Indiana Jones Crystal Skull Projector
May 22nd, 2008

Indiana Jones Crystal Skull Projector
This inferior replica of the real thing looks like it had stitches and has had it’s skull elongated in back. Looks like lucite. Not nearly as attractive as the skulls Indy hunts for. It’s pretty crappy. Indy would not approve. It comes with a set of slides featuring famous archaeological sites and scenes from the Indiana Jones films that can be projected on a wall when inserted into the Skull. It will cost you $39.99.

Tip: Never EVER ask your wife for sex while wearing a fedora and asking her to dress up like a Nazi chick because you want to raid her ark. It’s all good until you bring the whip out…And it turns on you. You’d be surprised how creative an angry woman with a whip can get.

Indiana Jones Electronic FX Whip
April 29th, 2008

Indiana Jones Electronic FX Whip
The new Indiana Jones film will hit theaters in less than a month. Now you can get yourself a toy version of Indy’s most famous accessory. The bull whip. “Throw me the idol, I’ll throw you the whip.”

Watch your kid break every damn thing in your house, while he’s pretending to be an archaeologist.

Yes, it’s lame. Not dangerous at all. It’s a three foot soft whip with a plastic handle that plays authentic whip-cracking sound effects as you swing it, and the well-known Indiana Jones theme music. A switch on the handle turns the sounds on and off, and it even features a carrying strap for attaching it to your belt. It will cost you $26.99.

I personally was hoping for something a bit more dangerous.

Never steal from Indiana Jones
October 5th, 2007

indiana jones kingdom and the crystal skull
After the week that “Indiana Jones” creator Steven Spielberg has had we here at PopTherapy would like to offer our counseling services to him. It certainly sounds like he needs to see a shrink.

First was the incident where a young and dumb extra blabbed to the press about what he saw while playing a Russian soldier, things like who the villain of the movie is (hello Cate Blanchett!) and what she does to get Indy to talk about where he hid a crystal skull. Spielberg’s representatives came down so hard on the loudmouthed extra that he settled with them out of court this week. Then followed another horrible experience as a thief stole thousands of documents, photographs and even the script for the fourth Indiana Jones movie, “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”, right out of the Los Angeles offices where Steven works! To add insult to injury the thief then tried to sell all of the sensitive Indy material to unscrupulous websites (PopTherapy was not one of them and for that we’re hurt) only to find himself caught by L.A. police posing as undercover webmasters. Charges were filed against Roderick Davis, 37, which he promptly denied ever doing. Sure Roderick, all these photos of Harrison Ford wearing a fedora were accidentally put in with your pick-up order from One Hour Photo, right? It must happen all the time.

Davis is out on a $100,000 bail bond and could face up to four years in prison if convicted. On the bright side he would be getting out right about when the latest Indiana Jones movie would be playing on television.

Give us a call soon Steven, we can help you!
