Johnny Depp Back as Captain Jack, Tonto & Mad Hatter
September 25th, 2008

Johnny Depp Back as Captain Jack, Tonto & Mad HatterLooks like we’ll be seeing a lot more Johnny Depp. He’s signed to star in two new high-profile Disney projects, one of which is as Capt. Jack Sparrow in a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie now in development.

He’ll also play sidekick Tonto in a big-screen adaptation of The Lone Ranger and will team up again with frequent collaborator Tim Burton for Alice in Wonderland, where he will star as the Mad Hatter.

Man, I am so sick of the Tim Burton and Johnny Depp live-fest. Stop humping each other already and work with different people.

Miley Cyrus Almost Naked
July 14th, 2008

Miley
Is there any parental supervision at all here? I’m not sure if these photos are real or not, but she’s acting like her usual skanky self. Remember she’s only 15. Some dude claims he hacked into her phone and got several nasty pics.

Disney USB Memory From Buffalo
I don’t get the fascination with slapping Disney all over tech, but if you love Disney, these are for you. Here are six new USB “Mi”-keys from Buffalo, available in 2GB and 4GB versions. You have a choice between the RUF2-DCNR (2 GB) with four different Disney character designs, and the RUF2-DCNR2 (4 GB), the vintage Disney model.

Miley Cyrus Signs Seven-Figure Book Deal
April 22nd, 2008

This is the spawn of Billy Ray Cyrus!
She’s barely even had a life yet and uber-skank Miley Cyrus is cashing in on her fame to write books. She signed a seven-figure book deal with Disney Book Group, the teen star’s publisher announced Tuesday.

The book will focus on the 15-year-old’s road to fame, from growing up in Tennessee to becoming an international star. All I can say is that this kid is going to be pretty screwed up by the time she hits 18.

Disney gives Spaceship Earth needed overhaul
March 7th, 2008

If you’ve ever visited Epcot at Walt Disney World in Florida, you’ve probably experienced the ancient Spaceship Earth attraction. It’s been around since 1982. Disney decided it was time to reimagine the ride and began working on a redo last summer. It is now back and brand new, as you can see from the video above.

Disney said the more interactive do-over includes many new scenes, new costumes and set decorations, new lighting and special effects, a new musical score and narration, and a totally re-themed interactive post-show.

If you haven’t been on the ride, here is a basic breakdown from Disney:

On a trip through time inside the Spaceship Earth attraction, now sponsored by Siemens, guests discover how each generation of mankind has invented the future for the next generation, and how the spirit of innovation has moved people from caves to the cosmos. During the journey, new scenes depict: a family in the late 1960s viewing the moon landing on television; a massive, two-story computer room of the late 1960s with reel-to-reel- computers; a garage of the early 1970s where the ‘personal computer’ is born; and a ‘tech tunnel’ in which guests become part of a digital data stream.

Jessica Biel Is Pochahontas

Jessica Biel Is Pochahontas
Apparently, it wasn’t enough to have a cartoon Pochahontas movie. Now Disney is making a live action movie. The good news is that Pochahontas just got hotter as Jessica Biel will have the title role.

Which makes sense given how many teepees she has erected.

Click through for an even hotter Jessica Biel picture as Pochahontas.
