Lego Sterling Silver Ring

Lego Sterling Silver RingWhy wear a plain yet valuable ring made out of something like gold and diamonds when you can wear a Lego ring? The Mathea’s sterling silver LEGO rings will run you from $140-$165. What’s great about this ring is that you can add Lego bricks and accessories to change it’s appearance.

LEGO Fashion show
November 24th, 2008

LEGO Fashion show This is either a LEGO fashion show or a bunch of Devo wives got together for dress up. Designer Jean Charles de Castelbajac displayed some LEGO inspired outfits at a recent fashion show. It’s no big deal. I can also put a lego castle on an anorexic’s head, add a Sgt. Pepper shirt and cloud pants. Done. I think this goes with this video we posted a few weeks ago.

Virtual Lego Fashion Show Is Strange, Mesmerizing
November 10th, 2008

JCDC Versus LEGO from Four H on Vimeo.
This virtual Lego fashion show should not excite any erections from the crowd. And the models aren’t anorexic skeletons for once. In fact they are kinda tubby thanks to their Lego bodies. The whole thing is like some weird acid trip when you’re on a bus with the Beatles and Paul offers you something that you stick under your tongue. This is what you see a few seconds later, then 40 years later you find that someone has actually made a video of the EXACT same scene on the internets. I’m dealing with that right now. I’m kinda scared.

Sci-Fi + Fashion = Expensive…& Fugly
January 3rd, 2008

Sci-Fi + Fashion

I was always of the opinion that Sci-Fi combined with fashion would produce some really cool cutting edge looks in real life. In general Sci-Fi clothing, at least as worn by the characters in movies and TV make men look ultra cool and make women look super sexy.

This is not one of those cases…

I present to you the C-3PO leg stockings, with a price tag of $159,000. Created by Nicolas Ghesquière for the Balenciaga collection, the C-3PO leggings are one of many sci-fi inspired designs. The collection also includes…Stormtrooper leggings. Yes Stormtrooper leggings. Cause we all know that Stormtroopers have the sexiest legs in the galaxy.

Other designs are based on Tron and The Terminator. You can see some of them here. And a video here.

Katie Holmes Version 2.0
December 4th, 2007

Katie Holmes 2.0

Katie Holmes attended the 2007 Bambi Awards in support of her handler husband Tom Cruise, sporting a Japanese Harajuku Girl haircut that seems to say, “I love you long time Mistah Tom Cruise”.

One can only surmise that the final phase of brainwashing is in progress. Her new style just screams conformity and a carefree lack of individual thought.

In a candid interview with her new do, some secrets were revealed:

“Yeah, Mistah think me too wild. He teach me. Me love him long time and go by the name Zhang Chow in private. Him jump on couch and say he in love! Get over yourself Mistah. He not so bad weally. Mistah only put me in the thought machine one time for trying to escape during marathon.”

Well, there you have it. Straight from the victim’s scalp. Poor Katie. In five years God only knows what she’ll look like. Maybe the end game is to look exactly like Tom.

No matter how you slice it, I’m creeped out.
