Time to do the Sulu dance I guess. Wedding bells were ringing yesterday for Star Trek actor George Takei as he and his boyfriend Brad Altman said their vows in front of almost 200 people in a Buddhist ceremony in L.A., according to Reuters.

Funny man, all around cool guy to hang out with(As long as he’s not behind you) and gay Enterprise hilmsman George Takei wants to have a big fat Trek wedding. That’s why he invited some of the crew.

“The best man is my colleague from Star Trek, Walter Koenig, who played Chekov, and the matron of honor is (Lt.) Uhura, Nichelle Nichols,” Takei tells PEOPLE. “And Leonard (Nimoy) and his wife Susan are on the (guest) list.”

Oh my! Perhaps he’ll do the Sulu dance.
