Jim Carrey, Jenny McCarthy, and Jenny’s autistic son Evan Asher were on Capitol Hill, Wednesday, actually doing something useful. The intent of the rally is to call for the elimination of toxins from children’s vaccines. Nice to see some Hollywood stars who are actually informed about the dangers of vaccines and who use their power for change. They wore shirts that read “Green Our Vaccines,” and held pictures of Evan as well. McCarthy, who has written a book about her experience raising an autistic son, has long believed his childhood immunizations triggered the condition. I’ll add that many studies support that. This pair wins the PopTherapy Sane celeb of the week award. Hollywood needs to take note and act more like these guys.

Ewan McGregor was seen conducting “field research” with Jim Carrey for their new flick. Is that what they’re calling it these days?

The film is called “I Love You Phillip Morris.” It’s a true story about a Texas convict who falls in love with his cell mate. The research took place at Halo on South Beach, a popular gay bar.

Ewan Mcgregor and a gay bar? This does not surprise me at all. I saw McGregor’s interaction with the young Darth Vader and it seemed…unnatural.
