Lego Safe Keeps Your Nerd Stuff Safe
November 18th, 2008

Here’s the cutting edge of Lego safe technology. The safe weighs 14 pounds and has a motion detecting alarm so it can’t be moved without creating a huge ruckus.

The lock takes five double digit codes to open it. That translates into over 305 billion different combinations. It even boasts an electronic status display showing the numbers as you turn the combination dials. When you enter the combination, the door electronically opens itself. It’s a great place to store all of your valuable geek stuff.

The NES Coffee Table Belongs In My House
May 9th, 2008

NES Coffee Table
I think my dreams have just come true. A cute girl playing games on a huge ass NES controller? Why does this never happen at my house? The NES Coffee Table can actually be used as a controller during game play, and it also provides excellent space for storing away all of your gaming gear.

Repulsive Vomit Armor Iron Man

Repulsive Vomit Armor Iron Man
Next month the Iron Man movie comes out. Just in time comes this one-of-a-kind, custom-modded Iron Man action figure from Jin Saotome. Painted to resemble Tony Stark after a serious bender, and based on a Marvel Movie Legends Iron Man figure, the alcohol-poisoned hero doesn’t look so good.

It comes with several miniature beer cans and a mini bottle of Bacardi. Painted in all the hues of vomit, the green, yellow, and orange figure is up for auction on eBay and is currently at $102.50.

Awesome NES mods
Thanks to its largely flat surface, the NES is an ideal canvas for custom paint jobs. eBay user hellokitty11111111111 does a pretty good job. Everything from Kid Icarus to Castlevania, Earthbound, Super Mario Bros. 3, and more. They can go for up to $149.99. Hit the link for more awesome pics.

NES Controller In A Car Engine

Nes controller Manifold
This Corolla’s engine block has a cover that looks like a NES controller. I’m not sure if it’s cool or not. On one hand, it is a NES controller on a car engine. On the other, no one will see the thing.

Super Mario Galaxy Wii Mod
April 16th, 2008

Cool Mario Wii Mod
Mario Galaxy fans will love this lighted Wii mod. It’s got a bunch of LED lights, 59 to be exact, illuminating the Mario Galaxy logo, while others flicker on and off like stars. It’s also got Mario figures on either side.

It was being sold on Ebay and all proceeds would have gone to the Penny Arcade charity, Child’s Play. But it appears that those douche guzzling Nazis at Ebay have taken the auction down.

Real Guitars Made From Video Game Consoles

Real Guitars Made From Video Game Consoles
Every geek I know has a broken console or two lying around. Every geek I know also thinks he can play guitar. And maybe they can, but I’ll still kick their sorry asses in Smash Bros. Why not build a real working guitar using some of your old consoles, like these guys did? How about a Dreamcast guitar or one made out of a Nintendo Famicom?

Check out some cool images below.
