Over at Lunatica Frenetica they have about 13 more characters that have been “untooned”. They include Stewie and Peter Griffin, Marge Simpson and many more. Obviously people have way too much time on their hands. Thank God too! Us geeks love toons.

I’ve known all along that he’s a real dude. Going to work 9 to 5, exterminating Koopas and Goombas and going on plumbing jobs with his bro Luigi, then heading home to bang the princess and have a TV dinner while watching Mythbusters. Business could probably be better though, so he is always on the hunt for coins. But man, what a life.

Are we taking the “real” thing too far now? After Jessica Rabbit, Homer Simpson, Mario…This is what the real Bowser would look like. You know, if dinosaurs still existed. Would that make Mario a plumber caveman?

You’ve probably seen the cool real-life Mario by Pixeloo that’s been all over the web this week. Now they’ve done a Homer version.

This one was a bit more difficult in that i wanted the light to come in mainly from one side with a bit of back light. So all my reference had to be lit from one side. For textures i needed but didn’t have this lighting situation, i had to darken or light a bit to give the same effect.
