Jeff de Boer is an artist who believes that cats would look cooler if they were wearing a suit of armor. I have to agree. I can easily see an alternate reality where cats are knights, fighting fire breathing mouse-dragons. That’s right, a crazy bizarro world were armored cats make humans piss in a box!

This guy has been making armor for animals since the 90’s, and he began with protective gear for mice (see pictures after jump). Then he found himself making cat battle armor.

Note: Do NOT show this to your cat! Right now we are the superior species. They must never know that they can be clothed for battle.

This Samurai Stormtrooper was created by artist Yoshi Isao and was on display at Gift Show 2008 in Tokyo. It’s a follow-up to his rendition of Darth Vader as Dark Lord of the Shogun.

It makes my geek heart yearn to see a movie with about 50,000 of these things all wielding katanas and chasing Yoda around after beheading a young Anakin Skywalker for bad acting.
