Harrison Ford may or may not be smoking crack. He basically just announced that a fifth Indiana Jones movie is potentially on the way. As Ford told the L.A. Times:

“It’s crazy but great,” the 66-year-old Ford said. “George is in think mode right now.”

Let’s hope this is a different think mode then the one that produced Ewoks and Jar-Jar. Someone really should take away George’s toys.

From the Licensing International Expo in New York, comes this first look at a poster for MGM’s remake of RoboCop.

I’m not so sure about this guys. Robocop was cool and all, but as cyborgs go, he was always a bit on the lame side. I would have expected that they would have updated the look a bit more. All they did was add a Battlestar Galactica Cylon look. Here’s to hoping we get something superior to the original movies, but with the same kind of weird humor.

It seems like a no-brainer that there should be an Austin Powers 4, despite the fact that the last one wasn’t all that funny. According to one report, the script is finished. It’s also rumored that Mike Meyers and director Jay Roach are already looking for the next Powers Babe. One contender is apparently Gisele Bundchen.

X-Files creator Chris Carter, writer Frank Spotnitz and others gathered on Wednesday to talk about the TV series and share some information about the upcoming film.

“While this is not a mythology movie, it’s true to everything that’s come before,” Spotnitz said at the William S. Paley Television Festival. “It’s true to Mulder and Scully, who they are and where they would be this point in their lives and all of the experiences that they’ve had.”

They really didn’t say very much more, but I’m expecting some Muldar and Scully humping, while aliens tape it and put it online. New teaser trailer HERE.

X-Files 2: Electric Boogaloo. Well, we hope that’s not the case.

The sequel has been confirmed by 20th Century Fox and many fans have been waiting for years to see FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully one more time. Series creator Chris Carter will direct again, with filming set to start in December.

It will likely change, but for now July 25, 2008 is the release date.

No details about the plot just yet, but you can bet we will see the Cigarette Smoking Man, perhaps a lone guman or two, and some aliens.
