For David Duchovny the truth is out there…And it can be found in a vagina.

The actor issued a statement that he has entered rehab for treatment of sex addiction.

David has been married to actress Tea Leoni since 1997 and the couple have two children, daughter Madelaine West, 9, and son Kyd, 6.

You can just imagine the conversation that led to his realization.

Tea: David, this has to stop. My vagina hurts non-stop and I caught you humping a stuffed animal yesterday.

David: I just can’t get enough. I’ve ruined every watermelon that has entered this house. I can’t be trusted with animals. I’m so ashamed. I need help.

X-Files creator Chris Carter, writer Frank Spotnitz and others gathered on Wednesday to talk about the TV series and share some information about the upcoming film.

“While this is not a mythology movie, it’s true to everything that’s come before,” Spotnitz said at the William S. Paley Television Festival. “It’s true to Mulder and Scully, who they are and where they would be this point in their lives and all of the experiences that they’ve had.”

X-Files 2: Electric Boogaloo. Well, we hope that’s not the case.

The sequel has been confirmed by 20th Century Fox and many fans have been waiting for years to see FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully one more time. Series creator Chris Carter will direct again, with filming set to start in December.

It will likely change, but for now July 25, 2008 is the release date.

No details about the plot just yet, but you can bet we will see the Cigarette Smoking Man, perhaps a lone guman or two, and some aliens.
